Takesure Chinyama (born September 30, 1982 in Harare) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer (striker) who last played for Legia Warszawa in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
Club career
In the autumn 2006 he was on trial in Legia Warszawa, but they decided not to buy him. After it, he joined Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski. In the summer 2007 he joined again Legia Warszawa, joining up with fellow Zimbabwean national Dickson Choto.[1] Takesure became the first non-European joint top scorer in the first Polish division (Ekstraklasa). Takesure Chinyama joined Legia Warsaw where there were already his two fellow countrymen: Herbert Dick and Dickson Choto.
After 4 years, due to his poor performance in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 seasons and neverendless health problems, in June 2011 he was released from Legia Warszawa.[2]
